Wibi a cappella
Rebrand
After twenty-eight years, Wibi A Capella’s logo was in need of a redesign. Being the only member from York University’s design program, I volunteered to take on this task.
I started with interviewing the directors, asking what five words represent Wibi best.
They chose Music, A Cappella, Legacy, Fun, and Family.
Each word had a distinctive impact on the final result, such as the inclusion of “est. 1988” to represent legacy.
Now, Wibi A Cappella uses this logo on merchandise and social media. It is fulfilling to see my design used and it is exciting to know that it will be used for years to come.
